Middle School Health and Physical Education Courses:

Depending on the type of scheduling at our middle schools, there are several areas that Health and Physical Education are being taught.  In some schools, health is taught by the regular classroom teacher as part of the academic curriculum.  At other middle schools the Physical Education teacher incorporates the Healthy Active Child curriculum into their Physical Education classes.

Elementary School Health and Physical Education Courses:

Each elementary teacher is assigned health textbooks that correspond with the Healthy Active Child Curriculum. The Physical Education teachers are required to involve students in at least 150 minutes of activity weekly.
